On a seasonal basis (summer), I assisted the property/project manager with preparing office spaces for new tenants. This includes anything from cleaning already vacant property, moving out furniture from previous tenants, or assisting contractors with reconstruction of pre-existing space. At any given moment I must be ready to make simple decisions for the project (i.e. where the new shipment of bathroom supplies must go) if my superiors are not currently available while also knowing if the answer to an issue exceeds my status and I must refer the client to the most appropriate of my three managers.

On a weekly basis I would maintain the building to satisfy members and ensure their annual membership renewal. Be it wiping down equipment and windows or simply helping someone find the TV remote, this job provided me the opportunity to learn that no task is too small while helping a customer. At an early age of my employed life, I became accustomed to doing whatever it takes to please those that I work for while operating within the guidelines of my position. In addition to these sometimes menial tasks, I would prepare the facility for an array of events from recreational basketball to wedding showers. This aspect of my job exposed me a great variety of people riding all types of emotions. I continually had frustrated parents and brides-to-be asking more of me than my description entailed. While some would have left this environment, I gratefully accepted the daily challenge for it taught me to maintain my composure while other's were temporarily incapable of keeping their own.
