Ensured intellectual property compliance with federal intellectual property laws, and international laws concerning advertising, labeling, packaging, innovation, and promotion of spirits and wine products in the Pernod Ricard portfolio. Served as intern assisting with contract negotiations, industry research, and development of marketing surveys on various alcoholic beverage industry issues. As Staff Counsel, negotiated and drafted contracts including wholesaler distribution agreements, leases, warehousing, and bourbon supply agreements. As Staff Counsel, developed intellectual property experience focused on trademark and copyright advice and counsel for Pernod Ricard USA and other America’s brand owners. Oversaw management and prosecution of the Wild Turkey bourbon, Malibu Rum, Kahlua, and Seagram’s trademark portfolios globally.
