I worked with the Opening Team for a new Marstons location in Newcastle-under-Lyme. I worked for six months with a tight-knit group of people, and was oftentimes responsible for co-coordinating and communicating with front and back of house teams.This role necessitated having a strong and confident demeanour, both to provide the customer with the best experience, and managing the team of, generally, younger staff members.

I represented the college at open days, by providing advice and information about the college, university and area to prospects students and their discerning parents. It was a challenging role that entailed direct customer interaction and confidence in both expertise and presentation. Participated in promotional videos for the college and was confident and self assured under pressure.

During my time at University I endeavoured to broaden my skill set, in particular my grasp of digital media and software. Working in collaboration with my friend Ameya Vaidya and a number of other contributors, we co-authored a science and technology blog.
