Haarslev, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Haarslev Group Holding A/S based out of Denmark. In my role as an Officer of Haarslev, Inc.; responsibilities include:• Oversee the Accounting and Financial Reporting functions for the Haarslev’s North American operations, including delivering key management reports internally, reporting under U.S. GAAP, IFRS and the Danish Financial Statement Act. • Evaluate and coordinate internal control processes and procedures. • Coordinate business unit reporting with the CFO and Global Finance team for Consolidated Financial Reporting. • Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.• Report key metrics to my direct reports, the President of Haarslev North America and to the CFO, as well as develop and provide reporting to peers in management over sales and various supply chain functions for the Company. • Manage working capital and prepare forecasts/reporting that is consistent with Global Treasury management objectives. • Oversee Tax Reporting and Compliance under applicable Federal, State & Local guidance. • Oversee the Information Systems function of Haarslev, Inc and implement ongoing systems and software improvements consistent with Global strategies. • Oversee Risk Management function for the local business unit as well as coordinate with Group Treasury for Global policy coverage.• Train, supervise and evaluate departmental Accounting and Information Technology staff. Facilitate goal setting and performance evaluations consistent with H/R initiatives. • Manage key banking, technology and other necessary consulting relationships to meet the functional needs of the business.

Coordinates and supervises the accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance and internal control functions of the organization. Provides accurate and timely financial information to management to assist in the development, support and measurement of the organization’s financial goals and objectives. Ensures company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.• Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions. • Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments. • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget. • Oversee daily operations of the finance department. • Manage the periodic reporting of financial data to Major League Baseball.• Manage the preparation of financial forecasts. • Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop one-year and three-year business plans for the company. • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.• Coordinate with the preparation of federal and state tax returns. • Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements. • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff. • Provide accounting policy orientation for new staff.
