I am a self-taught Software Engineer that grew to love coding. I enjoy learning and I'm constantly trying to improve my work . I have a non-traditional background, studying first Geology and then Nuclear Physics at James Madison University where I was first introduced to python and printed my first “Hello World”.My interest in coding began in my second year of University where all physics students were required to become proficient in Python. My curiosity led me down the rabbit hole and I read more about programming to better understand how the software itself worked. I started taking online programming courses, and I was fascinated by how coding can teach me to think, to be creative, and to go beyond my imagination.After teaching myself to code for 3 years, I decided to join Coding Dojo Bootcamp to gain the opportunity to work on dev teams, collaborate with others, and to help other students. I learned a full Python stack in 4 months, and built many projects using different technologies.
