Structural Systems Engineer responsible for the conduct of systems engineering processes relating to the design, development, production, test and evaluation and verification/validation of the Hull, Turret, doors/hatches/covers, fuel tanks and painting of the AS9 Self-Propelled Howitzer (SPH) and AS10 Armoured Ammunition Resupply Vehicle (AARV).

Managing the delivery of 33 seperate systems designed to revolutionize the ADF's Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defence (CBRND) capability.

- Planning, execution, management and reporting on body armour and small arms trials.- Introduction into service of new test equipment, including the development of quality documentation and work instructions.- Design and fabrication of custom test fixtures.

- Planning, execution, management and reporting on operational and acceptance testing of fire suppression systems.- Testing of sea water, fresh water, Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) and carbon dioxide (CO2) fire suppression systems.- Flow rate, flow discharge angle, flow pressure and flow droplet size distribution testing on fresh water and sea water firefighting systems.

- Planning, execution, management and reporting on trials involving land vehicles and small arms platforms.- Execution of Sound Pressure Level (SPL), Vibration Dose Value (VDV), Emergency Braking and Handling testing on vehicles.- Post-Processing of test data, and production of test reports.- Working with Commonwealth clients to tailor test plans to best fulfill their requirements.

- Review and acceptance of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) documentation.- Identification and rectification of defects in platform systems.- Technical engineering investigations on platform systems.
