Monitor network status of all switch stacks, routers, WAP, and devices across 50+ buildings using Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco Meraki MX450 Cloud Managed Security Appliance and Cisco Identity Services Engine. Optimize wireless signaling of WAPs in troubled areas of campus using Cisco 8540 Wireless Controller. Conduct port security on all access layer Cisco switches. Perform cable management, network rack installs, and other hands on tasks with various networking equipment.

Worked along side members of the IT Security Service Delivery Team (NA Region) and the Global Cyber Defense Center (GCDC). Monitored and responded to unauthorized environment, application, and database changes on over 100 servers across the NA region (American Modern + 3 sister companies) using the security data integrity tool, Tripwire. Created specific Tripwire rules referencing NIST and SOX compliancy standards, setup daily tasks to be performed on various Windows/Linux/Oracle servers, and generated weekly security reports to be reviewed. Performed Incident Response with the Security Operation Center (SOC) responding to a variety of active threats such as suspicious authentication activity, SSH brute force attacks, and compromised users/devices. Took a lead role in conduction a company wide Entitlement Review on all application and file permissions. Created various PowerShell scripts to help automate the auditing process.

Summer Internship Program• Wrote documentation referencing the NIST 800-171 report. The document contains 110 controls across 14 control families, testing requirements from the NIST 800-53 report, and personal pen-testing recommendation for each control. • Created bash script utilizing OWASP Zap and the OWTF Framework that tests 110 controls using a collection of brute force attacks, web/database injections, password cracking, and spidering through websites/databases/networks for the collection of information. •Completion of the bash script generates a report for the client that determines their compliancy with the NIST 800-171 documentation.
