Currently engaged in facilitating the rapid growth of Meritec's market leading Agile Rapid Application Development platform: ESB Agile. This exciting, challenging and varied role enables interaction with key stakeholders throughout the sales and delivery life-cycles. ESB:Agile is currently delivering real-world benefits by enabling channel-shift and end-to-end digital service delivery of Council services to their citizens.

Currently responsible for the delivery of major hosted managed services delivered on private cloud architectures. Also heavily involved in the role-out of a new to market Agile Software Development Toolkit which is delivering channel-shift and services using a “Digital By Default” approach for Local Government service delivery and transformation. In the IT Support Technician role I was responsible for the support of a varied range of in-house and customer IT systems. Support spanned a large variety of technologies and I gained a valuable breadth of experience in both legacy and mainstream architectures. The applications & technologies supported included (but not limited to):• Windows desktop (2000 – Windows 7)• Windows server (2000 – 2012)• Exchange• SQL Server• Oracle• Solaris• Unix• Linux• TCPIP• VMWare• Cisco• Citrix• Hyper-V• XenDesktopAs a developer I was responsible for the development and support of 3 main systems. One was the development from scratch of a Fleet Control System for a blue-chip Contract Hire and Leasing Company and the solution is still in use today. This was developed using ASP.NET and SQL Server. Another software solution I built was an e-learning platform that was ultimately rolled out to over 400 Local Authorities throughout the country and again the most recent iteration of this product continues to be used today. The original version of this products was developed in MS Access and then converted to a web application using Classic ASP and SQL Server. Since then the software has been re-developed twice using ASP.NET and most recently the Ruby on Rails framework and MySQL. The final product I helped to develop and support is a highly secure Safeguarding system for use in the educational market. The product is developed on a combination of technologies built around the RoR framework. The product is proving extremely popular in the market and take-up continues to go from strength the strength.
