I am the President and CEO of www.compliancecohort.com. Prior to this, I was the First Vice President at First Federal Savings Bank of Angola, was a Senior Consultant with Young & Associates, Inc., an AVP and Director of Compliance at a regional community bank, and had roles as a loan officer, loan processor, and personal banker at other financial institutions.At www.compliancecohort.com, I write articles and create training videos for compliance professionals. I also do a small amount of in person seminars and speaking each year. Over the years, I have conducted hundreds of training sessions/seminars on regulatory compliance and have worked with many state banker associations and community banks throughout the United States. I teach seminars on all areas of consumer compliance including BSA, mortgage lending, HMDA, deposit operations, loan operations, CRA, flood insurance, fair lending, hot topics, and advanced compliance management and BSA management. I have been a featured speaker at several banker's association conferences in states such as West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, and Montana and have been regular seminar presenter in many other states throughout the Midwest. I am also a regular guest lecturer at Indiana University- Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW).My experience includes conducting compliance reviews, developing and managing a Compliance Management System (CMS) for several different banks, providing key note speeches, building and coaching compliance teams, working with senior management and boards of directors, conducting multi-day seminars, evaluating and redesigning compliance programs, mentoring compliance staff, and conducting compliance audits.
