I recently graduated with a Master's in Chemistry from Queen's University while working with the Liu Group. During my master's degree I worked to develop and produce a novel copolymer for coating applications. My research focused on combining two starting materials to develop a ladder-like polysilsesquioxane coating that has both high hardness and hydrophobic properties. The production of this copolymer eliminates the need for post-treatment steps that are both time-consuming and require high amounts of energy. I have also graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Chemistry from Queen's University. I am looking to gain more knowledge and experience in the fields of engineering, chemistry, and materials science. I am highly motivated and aim to learn new skills as I continue to acquire knowledge.
