• Book in customer vehicles on arrival • Looked after vehicles during day • Made sure the Foreman delegated the work correctly to the Mechanics to ensure vehicles where completed on time o Ensure special requests were completed o Ensure ordered parts were correct o Contact the customer if there were special items that were identified  Place order for specialised parts o Quality check the vehicles after the foreman That faults were repaired  That cars were cleaned properly o Ensure costing was done correctly o Contact customers when cars where complete after my final check o Handover vehicle to the customer  Explain all work that had been done • Managing the team o Ensure Service advisors completed the full customer service cycle according to my standards o Doubled checked on carry over vehicles with the foremano Ensure that the foreman follows up on the parts that were being ordered for stationary vehicles o Assisted mechanics when they were unclear on diagnosis o Trained mechanics on SAAB related diagnostics • Work in Progress o Submit Work o Controlled work in progress  Ensure that cars longest on schedule were made a priority  Follow up on parts that had been ordered  Contact customers to ensure they were aware of the status of their vehicle

• Supervised Apprentice’so Trained them on all aspects of diagnostics o Trained them on Fault finding and problem solving o Trained them on Online Manuals o Guided them on Mechanical skills o Coached on life skills o Trained them on workshop cleanliness o Trained them on special tools operation o Trained them on part searching systems o Trained them on part ordering systems o Trained them on Health and safety in the workshop • Day to Day vehicles o Delegated the work correctly to the Mechanics to ensure vehicles where completed on time o Ensure special requests were completed o Ensure ordered parts were correct o Place order for specialised parts o Quality check the vehicles o Contact customers to diagnose faults as descriptions were not always clear o Handover vehicle to the customer under special circumstances o Meet with customers to explain work done on vehicles • Managing the team o Mentored mechanics o Followed up on delegated tasks o Helped with diagnostics when the individuals struggled to find the solution • Work in Progress o Manage work in progress
