Having worked for nearly 20 years as an accountant and business advisor specialising in high net worth individuals, small to medium enterprises, primary production and superannuation, I have helped businesses of many shapes and sizes to achieve their goals.I joined Hood Sweeney as part of its merger with Shearer + Elliss in 2013 where I had been a partner since 2002 and head of its finance department.At Hood Sweeney, my role is to help clients increase their wealth and financial knowledge and to support them at each stage of their financial journey, providing advice on taxation, and business structure, asset protection, business management and planning and, self-managed superannuation funds. I work with a range of clients primarily in the SME category specialising in wine, agriculture and family business. I manage the SMSF division, partnering with clients to help them through their financial and life journey.With a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide, I have skills in taxation, financial management and accounting, business planning, cash flow forecasting and succession planning. I'm a Director of Hood Sweeney, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
