In 2001 I had the opportunity to lead a survey team on one of the first GPS land survey projects located southwest of Hinton, Alberta which employed a path of least resistance approach to data acquisition. As part of my responsibilities I worked alongside landowners, environmental scientists, and land agents in the locating and siting of project infrastructure.
