As an Environmental Planner and Consultation Specialist I supported REA consultation and permitting processes for renewable energy development, coordinated Class EA planning processes for major infrastructure projects and undertook policy research and analysis at the municipal, provincial and federal level. In a Consultation / Facilitation role I worked with communities and project stakeholders utilizing various methods for public engagement, including; stakeholder workshops, community liaison committees, open house forums, traditional knowledge and land use gathering studies, presentations, key informant interviews, media monitoring and social media engagement.

As the elected Student Delegate I represented all six planning schools in the province sitting on the Student Liaison Committee, the Membership Outreach Committee and OPPI Council.

Dr. Ben Bradshaw (ReSDA) – Researcher and contributor for a knowledge gap analysis on Impact and Benefit Agreements (IBAs). This work contributed to the "Community – Industry Relations and IBAs" chapter for ReSDA’s Gap Analysis project. Dr. Wayne Caldwell - Editor and assistant project manager for the “Regional Development: Planning for Resiliency in the 21st Century” handbook developed for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

- LARC 3320 Landscape Ecology- LARC 2820 Urban and Regional Planning Assisted course instructors in the facilitation of course deliverables including marking of midterms, final exams and seminar presentations. In addition, I facilitated class dialogue during seminars as well as provided specific instructions and recommendations to students for major projects.

Worked within a team setting to accomplish particular goals of the Physical Resources Department, including retro-fits, instillation of energy reducing equipment and general maintenance of the campus.Represented Trent University’s Sustainability Office at student orientations and advising sessions. Assisted in the facilitation of on-campus sustainability initiatives through collaboration with various campus and institutional stakeholders. This position was a maternity leave fill.

As part of a research and audit team, conducted a sustainability audit of Trent University through the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS).

Served as a Recycling Ambassador for the summer of 2008. Facilitated discussions with stakeholder groups and promoted recycling programs throughout Central and Northern Alberta.

As a seismic land surveyor and a pipeline and well-site surveyor's assistant, I worked throughout northern British Columbia, Alberta and the North West Territories. In 2001 I had the opportunity to lead a survey team on one of the first GPS land survey projects located southwest of Hinton, Alberta which employed a path of least resistance approach to data acquisition. As part of my responsibilities I worked alongside landowners, environmental scientists, and land agents in the locating and siting of project infrastructure.
