Supervision of offshore team comprising of geophysicists, engineers, technologists, and technicians

• Design, analysis, development and testing of subsea components for the company’s acoustic imaging technology (Sub Bottom Imager and Acoustic Corer) and support equipment (launch and recovery frames, ROV mounting skids, etc) • Preparation of 3D mechanical models, fabrication drawings and assembly drawings using SolidWorks• Supervision of mechanical group comprised of technologists, designers, Jr. engineers, and work term students • Organization and delegation of various tasks to meet project schedules • Review and approve internal mechanical drawings and documents • Procure all mechanical equipment and/or mechanical related services, including quotation review, and purchase order generation• Report generation of technical documentation, including operational and maintenance manuals, subcontractor scopes of work, work requests, issue reports, and change request • Quality assurance as it relates to engineering systems• Adherence to quality standards adopted by the company• Oversee multiple subcontractors and fabricators for various projects • Host multidiscipline design reviews of new conceptual designs• Perform associated field work as required for new build assembly and maintenance • Project management of multiple projects, including cost estimates, scheduling and resource planning• Involved in various risk management activities such as, risk assessments, HAZID’s, HAZOP’s, HIRA’s and lift plans
