ServisHero is a tech Start-up driven by the vision of disrupting the local services industry in South East Asia.I am part of a 3-person team in tasked to grow the Singapore market. On the Business development front, the first couple of weeks were spent laser focused on the acquisition of Service providers (Heroes) on to our platform, as well as educating a fairly conventional market on adopting technology as a business tool. After stabilizing the supply side of this marketplace, I was responsible for coming up with innovative and better means to educate our Service Providers on how to maximize the potential of our platform, resulting in the Hero education package that we are now using. I was then also given the responsibility of operations in Singapore, which includes the constant matching of the requests from customers to our Service Providers, Customer Service, and ultimately ensuring that our core promise to both the customer and service provider is delivered. On the side, I was tasked to explore innovative offline channels to push growth and to garner greater brand awareness in Singapore. We have been to several flea markets and road shows and are exploring the option of talking to the Condominium Management to grow supply. I’m proud to say that in the 3 short months with ServisHero, our transaction volumes have grown by more than 300% in Singapore and that there are much more exciting things in the pipeline!

Core Responsibilities:I am responsible for my soldiers' training, morale and discipline.In training, I am responsible for the four tanks under my command, in both planning and execution so as to ensure mission success.In admin, I am responsible for the planning of training programmes and activities for the company and the battalion, which include the programme, logistics, finance, and execution of the activities to meet training objectives. I am also responsible for my soldiers' welfare, morale and general discipline in and out of the army.Other Responsibilities:Helped organise the pre and post show section of the Mobile Column in the National Day Parade 2015. Managed and directed 177 heavy vehicles into their precise formation following strict timings. Worked with officers from the Army, Navy, Airforce, Civil Defence and Police to coordinate the smooth flow of events, personnel and logistics during the 10 rehearsals and the actual day itself.Overseas Training:Exercise Wallaby 2015 in AustraliaExercise Panzerstrike 2014, 2015 in GermanyJungle Induction Training 2014 in Brunei
