Dr. Adama Sangaré is a Senior Project Geologist at Iamgold. He obtained a master degree in 2008 in Geosciences and Natural resources at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University (Fes-Morocco). He then was hired as junior production geologist for Randgold Resources at Loulo golod mine (Western Mali). He went the same year as exploration Geologist for AGEM (IAMGOLD Corp.) on the Boto project in South-eastern Senegal. In 2009 He return to Mali as Project Geologist on Kalana project for IAMGOLD Corp; where he was nominated senior Project Geologist in 2011 in charge of regional geology and database management. In 2013 he was appointed Project Manager Assistant in Fougadian Project (Southern Mali) and brought technical assistances to Siribaya Project in western Mali meanwhile. In 2014 he is assigned to Senegal exploration as Senior Project Geologist to support exploration team which is developing a gold deposit in prefeasibility stage at Malikoundi (Boto Project). In 2015 he obtained a PhD degree in Natural Resources and Sustainability (option metallogeny) at University of Fes (Morocco) and is now in charge of greenfield development on Siribaya-project (Western Mali). Since 2016 He was appointed as Senior Geologist on Siribaya Project and since 2018 he is deputy Project Manager.
