Led the macroeconomics and industrial baselining and forecasts for the development of the first economic master plan for the Malaysian civil aviation sector, as well as, the aeronautical charges framework. Managed and conducted industrial organization analysis for individual exemption applications for a joint-venture between Singapore Airlines and Lufthansa, and Malaysia Airlines and Japan Airlines. Led the team to conduct assessment on the market power of an airport operator for the purpose of developing the long-term aeronautical charges framework. The methodology used and outcome of the assessment were presented at the OECD Market Definition Workshop 2018 in Kuala Lumpur. Led the team responsible for the publication of four bi-annual reports on the outlook of the Malaysian civil aviation sector. Represented MAVCOM in the Malaysian negotiations team for the ASEAN-EU Air Services Agreement and provided key inputs to the Ministry of Transport, Malaysia regarding competition issues and public subsidies. Represented MAVCOM at the International Competition Network Conference 2018 in New Delhi and shared the experiences in the setting-up a new competition authority. Presented the outlook of the Malaysian civil aviation sector at the Malaysian Aviation Pool Seminar 2017 in Kuala Lumpur.
