I began my career in Oil & Gas on the drilling rigs, which quickly transitioned into land surveying. There I found a deep connection with Alberta's rugged environment, doing my best during the survey process to mitigate the impact on the environment. After a number of years dividing my time between the field and home, I moved into a role at an electronic distribution company, Here, I discovered a newfound passion for machining. My creative and analytical mind was challenged in all the best ways as I was tasked with designing and building overmolds for custom cable designs.My career then brought me back into the field as a Survey & Project Coordinator for pipeline construction, liaising with all departments to bring our projects to life. Seeing the pipeline go from inception to construction was a satisfying and rewarding experience.As Alberta's Oil & Gas industry began to take a downturn, I decided to go back to school and put a diploma behind my decade of experience. Upon graduating, my career took an unexpected turn as an opportunity opened up in the Moving & Relocation Industry. Not only has this given me a glimpse into the inner workings of a new industry, it has allowed me to utilize my customer service experience from years working in the restaurant & bar industry.
