• Innovate, prototype, and deliver innovative solutions spanning various technical verticals in a fast-paced startup environment • Develop product embedded firmware in C++ on RTOS to support real-time operation of state-of-the-art thermal therapy medical devices • Lead and manage product and software testing strategy, and train engineers and interns to drive successful testing and documentation outcomes • Develop automation and manufacturing tools in Python, Bash, HTML5, and CSS3 to remove bottlenecks, lower build times, and automate testing • Manage issue tracking and Git workflow in Jira to drive progress visibility within the development process and facilitate feedback with other project leads • Design PCBs in Mentor Graphics PADS to create feature-rich and reliable electrical platform for delivering critical product features including batteries, sensors, and other peripherals • Work with executive management to identify system-level feature, safety, and performance requirements with emphasis on complying with IEC 60601-1 test standards • Proactively increase value to company and reduce reliance on external resources by identifying and acquiring new technical skills (e.g., Django)
