Co-founded GroupLoops, LLC, along with three colleagues. GroupLoops was the product of a Grant Opportunities Collaborative Spaces research grant. The GroupLoops team aimed to build iPhone applications that lessens the barriers to music creation. GroupLoops utilized user centered design methods to research how users learn to play music and how collaboration affects learning. Led project through visioning, grant submission, planning, research, design, and development. Developed user interfaces and code for an iPhone application that uses gestures for music creation.

Co-founded Troubadour Mobile, along with two colleagues, as part of an entrepreneurial incubator program backed by a local venture capital firm. Troubadour Mobile aimed to create location-based mobile phone applications for iPhone and Android.Conceptualized and developed business strategy, products, and development methodology. Independently conducted and analyzed user research to elicit user needs and requirements. Also conducted numerous usability tests. Collaborated and assisted in the development of iPhone applications, specifically the user interface. Additionally, developed and designed websites, logos, and other marketing materials.
