I am an Engineering Geologist working in ground investigation and geotechnical and environmental consultancy in the southeast of England. I have experience undertaking both Phase II and Phase III geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigations, along with earthworks and construction supervision for infrastructure and housing projects. I frequently write interpretive investigation reports, desk studies, ground gas risk assessments, geotechnical feedback reports and numerical slope stability assessments. I have particular interests in slope stability assessment, sustainable engineering, the impacts of thermal loading on rock strength and the potential impacts of climate change on aspects of ground engineering.I have been involved in the development of tools for the assessment of embodied carbon for different foundation types.
