Working within multi-disciplinary "scrum" teams to develop innovative products for METER's environmental division. Responsible for all aspects of electrical design, including component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout (Altium), Design For eXcellence (DFX/DFM/DFA/DFT) considerations, and preparing and executing test plans. Technical Sales Support. Offloading Compression and Encryption from the CPU through dedicated hardware accelerator IC, IP, and board products. Enabling reliable communication through advanced Forward Error Correction(FEC) and digital communications technologies.* Brought into Sales to support increasing demand for IP cores particularly FEC and full digital modem solutions. * Retarget existing IP cores to new device families in Xilinx Vivado and Altera Quartus 2/Prime FPGA tools.* Manage distributors and representatives in China, Japan, and Korea.* Negotiate contracts, IP License Agreements, NDAs and quote custom IP work.* Provide first level of support for Compression PCIe boards and drivers.

Develop Forward Error Correction technology for use in Satellite or other communications. Some design work in hardware-accelerated compression and encryption. * Design modules in VHDL for FPGA and ASIC designs.* Target Xilinx, Altera, Microsemi, and Lattice FPGA device families.* Develop test benches, data generators, and verification software.* Create customer friendly specifications and characterization spreadsheet tools* Led team of 4 engineers that developed DVB-S2X family of IP cores.* Managed several summer interns

Support the manufacturing of all current products and work to improve yield. Setup and support the manufacture and test of all new products. Implement DFT (design for test) in new designs. Characterized and validated new products before transitioning to manufacturing. Created tools to visualize wafer yields. Programmed and maintained MySQL/PHP-based inventory tracking system. Managed summer intern.

Led groups of students on various service project throughout the community. Facilitated "reflection" sessions to help students understand the importance and impact of the service given.
