As a UX designer, I am responsible for understanding and creating improvements and innovations for both the visual and interactive experiences in iManage's software.

UBM studios was re-allocated from the Techinsights devision of UBM, and given its current designation. The studio is the same as "How Machines Work" and "Techinsights Studios" in all but name. (And a few business protocols.)I began my freelance work with the studio in August 2007, then was hired by UBM (through CMP) in 2008 as a full-time artist.

Before being reorganized into UBM studios, the studio was within the techinsights group.

I was hired on at How Machines Work Just before it was acquired by CMP, a subsidiary of UBM. Due to the complications of hiring during an acquisition, I was hired on a freelance basis until the business details were finalized. How machines work went on to become Techinsights Studios, then UBM studios. Though I was initially hired on for storyboard.

Between studies at Columbia I did intermittent freelance illustration for Mia Magazine, a Chicago-based publication.

I studied Graphic Design, with a major in Illustration. This included training in both traditional and digital media, covering a broad number of design fields.
