Lead Ux Designer
CurrentAs a Lead UX designer for iManage, it's my job to consult stakeholders, managerial staff, customer representatives, and end users to understand the friction points, functionality gaps, and future needs of our software then design a solution that addresses as many of these as possible.This usually includes:• Conduct user interviews alongside Product and research teams• Create multiple interface/flow designs• Do usability tests and/or reviews around the solutions• Work alongside development staff to ensure the flows are created as intended, and that any technical hurdles are taken into account• Review the end result with stakeholders and end users to ensure the solutions delivered meet their needs.Outside of the usual feature design and development cycles, my job includes reviewing direct user feedback, and accessibility improvements.• Work with UX Researchers to help categorize and clarify themes• Interview respondents to clarify their needs, expectations, and provide pointers when possible• Work with development staff to identify accessibility issues on legacy features, as well as new designs to incorporate accessibility best practices
