I supervised supply chain procedures by executing and reviewing KPIs on a daily basis as per Morrison’s manufacturing standards. Furthermore, I handled a fleet of 14 trailers to cover two Grimsby sites.Key Contributions: • Implemented transport cost saving project, successfully generating a saving of £260K per annum.• Efficient stock management – managing £6.4 million worth of high end stock internally and via 4 external storage facilities, implemented a dedicated stock team to oversee the 4 external storage units. Besides this, I conducted risk assessments to mitigate potential threats and foster an overall health and safety culture.Key Contributions: • Implemented buddy system to ensure the correct transfer of stock/sales from manufacturing into RDC’s, reducing booking in errors at Wakefield from 8% to 0.01% with yearly value of £1.2M down to £12K.• Planned and produced cube fill business plan specifying executed actions and processes across all depots, consequently generating annual savings of £102K.• Championed resources efficiently by designing and implementing new model forecast based on projected daily volume which led to a P&L on labour, subsequently reducing costs by £296K per annum.• Drove major waste reduction improvements as well as minimised downtime and inefficiencies in the warehouse flow through colleague engagement, generating savings of £130K per annum. • Identified area trigger points and hot spots by conducting SAT & audits, elevating overall health & safety measures to protect intake in a hyper care situation with a high accident/low near miss submission ratio.• Performed material utilization reviews on all products waste streams to maximize yield and reduce wastage. • Generated internal second sale/bi product stream revenue with a cost saving of £156K per annum.
