NZDr – New Zealand Doctor recruitment - is a New Zealand owned and operated doctor recruitment company. We are a preferred supplier to all 20 District Health Boards in New Zealand for Locum, Fixed Term and Permanent contracts.My role is to assist Emergency Medicine specialists, Rural specialists and General Practitioners (Family Practitioners) find suitable roles within the New Zealand healthcare system. Since I began my career in medical recruitment in October 2015, I have built a strong professional reputation with both the hospitals and the medical professionals in NZ. I continue to learn about the medical communities I assist and I’m constantly developing a true understanding of what the needs/wants are when teams are hiring new members. Having supported the EM, Rural and GP healthcare communities for a number of years now, my understanding and insight of current and future vacancies across NZ has allowed me to successfully assist many doctors with their next career step. I offer relevant, current advice and guidance to any doctor wishing to work as a locum, or potentially find a new permanent role in NZ. In addition to tailored vacancy searches, I also work closely with the MCNZ (Medical Council of New Zealand) assisting many overseas trained doctors with their medical registration applications, and our in house licensed immigration adviser can provide expert advice for any immigration requirements. My fiancé and I relocated to New Zealand in 2015. We had previously spent a few months travelling around the country, being amazed and falling in love with everywhere we visited.
