Mr. Bier has extensive experience serving clients in the new media, biotechnology, e-commerce, telecommunications, energy & cleantech, design, IT, precision manufactur­ing, and consumer web industries, and has represented Fortune 500 companies in connection with major patent and antitrust litigation and internal investigations.A graduate (with distinction) of the University of California, Berkeley and of New York University School of Law, Mr. Bier served as law clerk to the Hon. James F. Stiven of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and practiced for several years at a law firm in Silicon Valley before founding Bier Legal in 2009.Mr. Bier sits on the board of directors of San Francisco Opera's Merola Opera Program and previously served on the boards of Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and San Francisco Opera’s junior auxiliary, BRAVO!
