I was recruited by NHSBT – a specialist health authority – as a key partner to senior stakeholders, focused on driving complex high value process and technology change by challenging and aligning perspectives, documenting requirements and use cases, providing data-driven insight, and contributing to the development of project roadmaps. I led c. 13 BAs alongside overseeing contractors, with responsibility for prioritising workloads, implementing and training on best practices, and ensuring deliverables aligned with key milestones. ◼️Appointed as Interim Principal BA for 6 months; managing the team, providing senior-level expertise on business analysis, and supporting the implementation of best practices within the BA Centre of Excellence.◼️Designed, implemented and trained over 100 stakeholders on software development processes.◼️Documented a requirements management process, trained 120 staff and led 4 BAs to complete 40% of the conversion backlog of a £30m, 6-year blood technology product centre modernisation programme.◼️Praised for identifying a strategic way forward and producing a 5-year change backlog for the highly challenging delivery of a £10m centralised hub for organ donation, including the implementation of SAFe.◼️Facilitated digital transformation by developing procurement deliverables, enabling procurement of IBM Business Process Manager Software and Operational Decision Manager.◼️Bolstered the £2m tender for the organ donor register, which is one of the UK’s largest databases with c. 26m records, by defining and securing buy-in for evaluation criteria that led to the seamless onboarding of support, maintenance, development and potential hosting services.◼️Implemented an evidence-based framework to effectively prioritise change initiatives.◼️Defined high quality application accessibility requirements (NFRs), ensuring future applications are built to standard and existing applications are audited and in compliance with industry regulations.

At SCW Commissioning Support Unit – an IT, process and tool provider for the NHS – I facilitated change with statements of work, procurement criteria, technology implementation methodology documents and transition deliverables. I served as business and technology expert to (and a critical bridge between) operational, IT, project and external supplier stakeholders, facilitating project success with detailed insight and clearly defined governance, risk policy, work packages, statements of work, and deliverable accountabilities.◼️Trained and supervised a team of Business Analysts on leading-edge implementation processes to ensure high quality deliveries within stringent timescales.◼️Recognised as a key contributor to replacing N. Somerset Community Provider’s EPR system, by developing strong processes that drove the implementation across 45 services within 8 months - the process was praised for its effectiveness and was selected for use in the rollout to Bristol Community Health.
