Rolling out system updates via Azure or Octopus deployments and dealing with helpdesk/hotseat duties as part of a rota, liaising closely with our development teams to investigate any issues that arise regarding our products.Working on Azure pipelines to streamline and automate our deployment processes, and using Cortex XSOAR for playbooks to help minimise system issues and assist our Operations Centre to perform system checks automatically without referring to individual teams for feedback.Assisting with Severity issues on an ad-hoc basis, and covering duties of the Service Owner if required, including escalating any severity issues and working on resolution.Creating technical documentation and play books via confluence to help train staff on new features and products, and to help improve the knowledge/skills matrix across the team.Responsible for identifying issues, and subsequently creating Azure work items based off investigations with a view to improving the team knowledge base, and using Azure boards to create and prioritise work items for possible future improvements / development opportunities in line with business OKRs.During my time in the Client team, I identified areas of improvement in workflow after requesting to spend 2 weeks in the configuration team, then took responsibility for specific project items working with the co-located configuration team to improve standardisation of configuration templates to help minimise potential system impact, and downtime due to misconfiguration.I also led training sessions on our products for team members, and also for senior management / function leaders.
