Profile bio

About Adam Carroll

I am a final-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Limerick, set to graduate in 2025. During my time in the program, I gained invaluable experience during my Co-op with Johnson & Johnson Vision Care in Limerick, where I supported a fully automated, high-production mechanical line during its ramp-up following a significant retrofit. This experience provided me with hands-on exposure to high-tech manufacturing and a fast-paced working environment, further fueling my passion for engineering. My enthusiasm for problem-solving and collaboration has been a constant throughout my academic and practical experiences. This was recognized early on when I received the Grant Engineering Award for achieving the highest engineering grade in my school during my Leaving Certificate. I have always been fascinated by understanding how things work and leveraging that knowledge to create solutions that have real-world impact. As I prepare to complete my degree, I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to new challenges, continuing to grow as an engineer in innovative and dynamic environments.
