I hold a senior bar staff role in The Locke Bar Limerick. With previous experience in bars, I have earned the senior bar staff title. On a part-time basis in a busy pub I have been given the managerial role for the beer garden. It is my duty that I ensure everything is organised - regarding stock/inventory, customer service, time management, cleanliness and that all jobs are done at the right time by staff so things are running smoothly. My role in J&J as a manufacturing engineering intern, gave me the experience and drive to exceed in my future engineering career. Part of the engineering department I:->Updated SOPs on Microsoft Word->Created a filing Systems for those documents->Used Microsoft PowerPoint to also update documents and procedures->Utilized CAD to create an idea my boss had in mind->Hands on work on the manual assembly, this helped me develop the SOPs to a better understanding

I worked with a very experienced and admired carpenter for a summer. I was given a lot of responsibilities with my role. Working with a self employed carpenter open the door for a lot of hands on work. I got to put up stud walls, help put up plaster board, mixed concrete, helped put up a lean-to room, put a new roof on an old house where i helped put up rafters, felt, battens, insulation, and finally the slates and ridge tiles.I also got to 2nd fix a house with the carpenter. At this job I cut the architrave, skirting boards, door frames and so on. I helped fix these in there place also. I also helped put door handles on the doors and observed how the locks are fitted.
