I have worked front line for South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust since Jan 2009 and for a private provider for 12 months before that. From early coordination of emergency crews at large incidents to working solo with life saving outcomes, I pride myself on the experiences I have had from an early age.

Papworth

On call emergency response driver for Papworth Hospital's ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) Retrieval Team. Mobilising a specialist retrieval team in a high performance response car to a referring hospital, whilst an ambulance is prepared to transport the patient.Papworth Hospital is one of five hospitals commissioned by the National Specialised Commissioning Team to provide ExtraCorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) to patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). This is part of a coordinated national response service to ensure all patients have year-round access to ECMO in England, including the retrieval of these patients from the hospital they are referred from

Providing medical cover at sporting events, film sets and nightclub venues around the city of London and surrounding areas. Working solo in a variety of environments enabled me to immerse myself in the responsibility expected of clinical personnel.

South & South West England

Working as an EMT-B on a High Dependancy Unit Ambulance covering inter-hospital transfers, doctors urgent's, and CAT C emergency calls. A fantastic introduction to front line and shift work life enabling me to gauge my interest in pursuing a career in the services. Working on lower grade emergency calls helped ease into the role of a front line crew when I began working for the NHS.

Hampshire

Retail Partner at Waitrose whilst studying at sixth form college. Shop floor, warehouse, and till duties. This was my first real employment working directly with the public and nurtured the valuable people skills that underline those required in my front line Emergency Services roles.
