As a Sr. Analyst of Wellness at Verizon, I supported the overall mission of Verizon's wellness programs, initiatives and wellness offerings to help its employees with their personal self-care needs and reduce company health care costs, claims and utilization. I was responsible for supporting, designing and implementing health promotion and wellness programs at Verizon aimed at encouraging employees to adopt healthy lifestyles by actively participating in wellness activities. This included working with HR, Benefits and DEI Teams along with internal and external stakeholders to design wellness programs, policies and offerings that empowered the employees of Verizon to take ownership and responsibility of their personal wellness behaviors and provided compensation rewards and recognition for successful follow through of our wellbeing offerings.

Oversaw the daily operations of Verizon's in-house wellness / fitness facility within a 1,500 employee call center. The goal was aimed at getting employees to utilize the company fitness center along with it's wellness offerings to improve overall health and wellbeing of the employee. I hired, trained, mentored and developed the wellness staff within the fitness facility and ensured that our program offerings were inclusive and designed to promote healthy lifestyle behaviors.Programs offered included: Personal 1-on-1 and small group trainings, daily group exercise class schedule, wellness and fitness incentive challenges that rewarded employees based on participation and outcomes, onsite biometric wellbeing screenings, onsite blood drives, workplace ergonomic assessments, meditation and relaxation sessions and team building engagements.
