• Calculate heat loss and ventilation load requirements for mechanical contractors for residential to commercial/industrial projects based on ACCA’s Manual “J” criteria. • Provide duct sizing and design layout for all HVAC system types.• Develop HVAC and hydronic system installation instructions for complex or new systems.• Create piping and layout schematics for hydronic & radiant heating and snowmelt systems, including pipe sizing and pump selection.• Determine equipment and materials that are needed to complete a project.• Balance multiple projects and complete each by the project deadline.• Set-up controls and create electrical schematics for large systems and perform on-site startups.• Troubleshoot equipment and systems with contractor to achieve desired operation.• Attend manufacturer and trade association trainings/seminars to stay knowledgeable on the most current technologies and system innovations. • Responsible for the planning, on-site implementation and hosting of customer training and meeting sessions.
