Working in a part-time secondment alongside my job at Blackpool Council as part of the LOVEmyBEACH public campaign.Communications lead on new project to improve bathing water quality across the North West of England.📺 Dealing with the national media on regular bathing water related issues and managing press coverage for the North West.🏛 Liaising with councils, politicians and volunteer organisations across the North West to generate interest and uptake in the campaign.🌍 Resulted in positive national and international media coverage for positive results for the North West. 🌊 Also Communications Lead for LGA Coastal Special Interest Group, representing all English councils in a national strategic group alongside DEFRA, DCLG and Environment Agency.
