In August of 2012, I had my first gig with Phase 3 AV working as a freelance stagehand. Over the next few months, I became responsible for transporting equipment from the warehouse to various venues while assisting with load-ins and set-ups. In January 2013, my knowledge and skills were brought into the warehouse part-time to assist with packing and preparing for shows. I quickly fell in love with the space and team atmosphere, which ultimately lead to accepting a full-time position in April 2013. I take immense pride in every facet of my work because I truly enjoy everything that I do! When given a challenge, I find excitement in figuring out the puzzle pieces that will provide the absolute best results for our clients. If I see equipment that would not meet my expectations by 110%, I will pinpoint the issue and find a solution to rectify it. Making customer satisfaction is my top priority, which is why I always ensure that our entire inventory is in excellent working condition. Nothing makes me happier than hearing positive feedback from a successful show!I believe that open and honest communication with my team has helped me to excel and achieve many accomplishments. Since joining the team at Phase 3, I have implemented procedures that have lead to a decrease of missing items while increasing quality assurance and accuracy when packing and shipping equipment for shows. I have developed methods for organizing and checking inventory meticulously as it returns to the shop in order to decrease downtime and expedite any necessary repairs. I love being able to come to work every day with a smile on my face and sharing my optimistic attitude with every single one of my team members. I work with a phenomenal crew that is not only easy to get along with, but I take comfort in knowing that they always have my back. The free coffee is just icing on the cake!
