With over 20 years of collegiate and corporate recreation/well-being experience, highlighted by many areas of administrative oversight, I have advanced my professional portfolio in staff development, sponsorship & fundraising, sports administration (Intramurals & club), facility operations, fitness center management and special event operations. Utilizing these divisions of collegiate recreation I have enhanced my skill sets within professional and student leadership development, policy writing, program and operational development, facility planning & design, budget administration, staff/officials’ administration and risk management. I have been fortunate to develop my recreation and wellbeing portfolio through five different universities across the country, as well as through amazing opportunities afforded to me at NIRSA Headquarters and now at Plus One/Optum.While aligning my professional goals with core values rooted in wellbeing, I continue to advance my passion for sports officiating. This adds to my belief that a great organization is defined by the level of hands-on training given to its staff from highly trained and certified individuals. By doing so it allows us to remain current with superior program content, it increases our capacity to teach others and stay at the forefront of educational development within our community.
