Mathematics is the largest A Level subject at Salesian College, Chertsey, giving me responsibility for 7 staff and over 200 students. As well as Further Maths and Resit GCSE, I lead the Maths curricuIum in T Levels and support colleagues in other numerate and statistical disciplines. I'm also a Sixth Form tutor, and am involved in technical support, music events, and primary liaison.

I deliver training on subject knowledge, pedagogy, resourceing and recent developments in post-16 Mathematics, especially for A Level. I have worked with both individual schools and Maths Hubs, and offer personalised courses for trainee teachers, NQTs and experienced teachers developing their Sixth Form experience.

MEI deliver the work of the Advanced Maths Support Programme (AMSP) including online and face to face training, curriculum support, student tuition, and Integral resources. As an Associate, I promote and support this work, in particular running termly Network Meetings in Surrey for mainly post-16 Maths teachers. These meetings look at curriculum developments, specific topics such as Proof at A Level, and provide a discussion space for teachers and Heads of Department. I also help deliver AMSP training, alongside my work with the Maths Hubs and individual schools.

I present Maths Masterclasses for the Royal Institution to Years 5, 6, 8 and 9 in Surrey, London, Berkshire, Sussex and beyond. My interests in recreational maths and applications of post-A Level topics provide a fertile ground for developing session on Hexagons, Group Theory, Spirals and much more.

I have marked National Tests at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 2 since 1995, and led teams of 10 Markers between 2000 and 2010. I have marked National Reference Tests and have wide experience in setting, marking and analysing in-school assessments since 1992.

As well as youth work with 11 to 14-year-olds in church, I volunteered each summer for a two week residential Christian camp, firstly in Sussex and later in Hampshire. My responsibilities included dorm leader, lead musician, tech expert, speaking and running discussion groups, and camp treasurer.
