I am an Assistant Professor of Advertising and the Director of the Office of Digital Learning at the University of Oklahoma. My team is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a growing portfolio of online programs and their respective courses, including 25 new professional master's degree programs launched in disciplines related to business, engineering, education, communication, and social sciences. I supervise a growing team, including instructional designers, instructional technologists, and media personnel. I have teaching experience in large lecture courses, lab-based design, case study-driven seminars, and experiential learning courses, and I won the Owen Kulemeka Teacher of the Year Award. I have also managed university R&D efforts to analyze solutions related to academic innovation, led faculty learning communities related to the integration of technology in classrooms, and advised administration on the purchasing of learning technology vendors, including system-wide learning management systems. I am also the founder, planner, and curator of the TEDxOU conference and have won multiple awards, including the Innovator of the Year and Achievers Under 40 from the Journal Record.
