Gaining a great deal of experience on all of the clients I worked with the CHEC audit function, carrying out analysis on the financial validity across a number of areas within many corporations. Within this many of the clients, roles mainly focused around intangible, tangible and current assets while also working on numerous liabilities such as accruals and trade payables. Opportunities to also validate the financials of a grant that was being provided to a major institution in Ireland. The analysis of this gave a great deal of information into the interplay of the finance, audit, and regulation. Opportunities to carry out this task autonomously under a manager and partner due to prior results on work carried out.

Worked on the financials of SMEs balancing their transactions with relevant invoices and receipts on excel. The aim of this was to ensure the integrity of the taxable person(s) own records and analyse any discrepancies as to why these may have arisen. Insuring that three documents that were integral due to the obligation of submission to the CRO were present in all files as substantial fines would have occurred if this had not been carried out. These documents also had to be analysed as it was necessary to ensure all deadlines were met.
