Accountable for the development, implementation and sustainable safety management of the Perstorp Global Security Standards; Including fire protection management, emergency planning, crime prevention, intellectual property protection and total perimeter protection. Perstorp’s Business Continuity Planning and Loss Prevention. Responsible for setting standards based on industrial best practices, provide short and long term global objectives aligned with the corporate and the global responsible care vision, mission and strategy, develop implementation plans, develop training materials, train the trainers and audit the level of the standards application. Including but not limited to: Safety, Security, Business Continuity Planning, Loss Prevention, Incident reporting, follow up and learning, EHS Auditing and follow up.

Overall resposible for the occupational health and wellbeing for IKEA Group and IKEA companies, defined as the physical, mental and social working environment at IKEA. It includes all conditions for a healthy, safe and well-adapted work environment and the organisation of the work place to support the well-being of all co-workers.

Responsible for securing compliance with our Code of Conduct, Environment, Health and Safety at all Swedwood suppliers and performing audits. Overall responsible for development and implementation of the Supplier Quality Assurance process and standard.

Environment, Health & Fire Saftey responsible with responsibility for 8 sites in Europe. My main task was to support the Business Area manager in reaching the IKEA/Swedwood requirements (including local and international requirements) concerning Environment, Health and Safety in close cooperation with the factories in the Business Area. The responsibility was to drive and actively support agreed focus issues from the Swedwood Strategy and overall objectives and be a link to other Business Areas as well as to Swedwood International.

My task was to secure social responsibility and minimise the environmental effect by establishing strategies, goals, methods and routines for continuous improvements. Also to secure implementation and fulfilment of requirements at IKEA’s suppliers trough audits. The work is an integrated part of daily business with our suppliers. To our help I had 8 coordinators across the world and a matrix responsibility in IKEA supply chain.

My area of responsibility was the company’s quality and environmental management system, ISO 9001 and 14001, the Swedish environmental label “the Swan” and fulfilment of Good Manufacturing Practice. The responsibility included control and product quality, maintenance and development of systems, to analyse methods and routines, co-worker training, implementation of routines. Other work task where technology and business development, organisational development, product development and patent handling.
