Human learning and memory is my passion. My research focuses on understanding the brain systems that support human vision and memory. My objective is to use this information to better understand how brain functions differently in individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Dartmouth College. I completed my DPhil (PhD) at the University of Oxford as an NIH-OxCam scholar in 2019. My thesis was titled Examining Functional Plasticity in the Human Brain, and focused on elucidating the neural mechanisms that support skill learning. I am a former NIH Post-baccalaureate research fellow. I worked with Dr. Eric Wassermann in the National Institutes Neurological Disorders and Stroke investigating the functional networks supporting procedural and motor learning. My experience included working with functional MRI and transcranial magnetic stimulation, data analysis, summer intern/volunteer mentorship, patient recruitment.I studied Neuroscience and Behavior at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. My undergraduate research experience included laboratory experience includes addiction related pathologies including the effects of chronic alcohol exposure on the midbrain nuclei using electron microscopy and fluorescent microscopy. My additional experience includes work with retrograde tracer, immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy.
