-Review and analyze all documentation related to the initial mortgage loan submissions with great attention to detail, confirming they meet the guidelines of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -Responsible for accurately calculating qualifying income for borrowers based off of pay stubs, W2’s, personal and business tax returns, award letters, rental lease agreements, etc -Scrutinize the documents provided and look at the loan as a whole for signs of fraud or misrepresentation-Build and maintain professional relationships with individual loan officers and loan processors throughout the United States-Provide elite customer service with constant updates to broker shops regarding their active loans via phone calls and emails-Balance fast paced environment through multi-tasking, adapting quickly and managing time efficiently -Assist in the implementation of new innovative technology and projects to improve the loan process to be more efficient and streamlined-Complete required training courses and quizzes to stay up to date on changes in processes and show adequate knowledge of rules and regulations for underwriting mortgages-Reviewed and analyzed documents submitted throughout the life of the loan to confirm they meet the guidelines of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac-Maintained contact with broker shops to keep them updated on what has been satisfied and what is still needed to get the loan to closing-Moved the loan into closing status once all necessary documents were received
