Senior Estimating Manager
CurrentDepartment Manager/Estimator/Project Manager/Mechanical EngineerDaily activities include management of full estimating and project management staff, monitoring of staff workload, delegation of assignments, customer interactions/relations, large project estimating, monitoring of current project activities, issues, and costs, creation of engineered lift plans, project closeout activities. Long term assignments include managing departmental activities to meet defined goals, training and development of estimating and project management staff, strategic planning. Areas of knowledge include, but are not limited to, hydraulic gantry operations, platform trailer (prime mover & SPMT) operations, hydraulic jack and slide operations, strand jack operations, complex machinery and process installations (stacker/reclaimers, rotary car dumpers), large and small hydraulic cranes, conventional crawler cranes, specialized rigging applications, general machinery moving/rigging, entire plant relocations, structural steel erection, stamping and forging press installations, industrial maintenance services, production line installations, plant decommisionings, substation and power plant work, subcontract services, etc.
