Responsible for all aspects of the Restructuring of US Energy Biogas, one of the largest independent renewable energy producers at the time and one of the two main subsidiaries of US Energy Systems, Inc.Led the company's during its Chapter 11 filing and emergence 6 months after initial filing.Negotiated a workout of $90 million portfolio financing with principal creditor on financially advantageous termsPaid vendors and other creditors 100% of their claim.Negotiated a settlement with the State of Illinois under their renewable energy support program reducing obligation from $60 million to $5 million.Identified a lender and negotiated exit financing of $100 million.Created $10 million equity value for US Energy Systems from initial insolvency when company entered bankruptcy. Negotiated and executed one of the first carbon credit trades in the US.One of two primary operating subsidiaries of US Energy Sytems, Inc. I succesfully led the subsidiary through a restructuring through a Chapter 11 federal bankruptcy. I was involved in all aspects of executing the restructurturing and managing the subsidiary. I arranged payoff of the existing debt without prepayment penalties, settled a $60 million dispute with the State of Illinois for $5 million and arranged a $90 million exit financing The subsidiary successfully emerged from Chapter 11 in 6 months resulting in the recognition of approximatelhy $10 million of book equity.

Executed the first LBO in Israel of the AMPA Group, a diversified Israeli Company with operations in Israel, the UK, the US and China. Co-founded PRI, a boutique advisory firm focused on advising companies in Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union (FSU) on capital raising and corporate restructurng. Completed the first non-government guaranteed corporate institutional financing of a company in the FSU, the Mazeikiai Nafta Oil Refinery working capital facility ($90 million). Clients also included Achema Chemical, Stella Vitae (local Gazprom subsidiary) and the Rosneft. Closed $200 million in finanancing and restructuring transactions.

SOBRO, is a not-for-profit economic development firm. I led a team of professionals managing a portfolio of government contracts to assist in the economic development of the South Bronx. During my tenure I tripled the value of contracts including contracts with the US Department of Defense (DOD) to assist small companies in obtaining and managing DOD contracts, NYS contracts to assist small businesses to export and NYC contracts to retain industrial businesses in New York. In addition, I created a mortgage brokerage division to arrange financing for small and medium sized businesses and closed on over $50 million in transactions
