Five years into my time at VSUW, I was promoted to the role of Senior Development Officer. This role included everything described below, along with greater impact into the strategic direction and operations of the Resource Development department. I was responsible for leading a team of two Development Coordinators, along with coaching and mentoring up to eight Development Officers. In partnership with another Senior Development Officer, we created portfolios for each member of the team and led the Loaned Executive training program each year.
