A start-up business specialising in the delivery of high end restaurant food, operating under Delivery Hero, a subsidiary of the Rocket Internet group. The business regularly enjoyed rapid weekly growth of users over 50% during my time there.Work duties:• Conduct market research for the sourcing and vetting of new restaurants to approach for partnership, which required a proactive attitude and positive manner to build rapport with prospective clients.• Supervision of restaurants through the contracting process and managing relations with contracted clients.• Organisation/management of all partner contracts in both hard copies and online database.• Development of a Microsoft Excel sheet to track and manage our sales force and their performances, which I would analyse weekly with a senior director. Data was collected and presented over multiple time series to see if various targets were being met.

A London based global real estate private equity and development firm. Focusing on commercial, residential and resort sectors with a portfolio valued at over £160m. The project I was assigned to was a hotel resort development in St Lucia, called Freedom Bay, valued upwards of US$100m. My role as a financial modeller had a lot of crossover requiring cooperation with sales, marketing, finance and development sectors.Work duties:• Development of financial models for property development project through detailed analysis of outside feasibility studies, business targets and projections, and economic conditions. Different projections required different data inputs to provide comparisons and analysis of varying outcomes of factors such as cash flows, interest repayments and building costs. These were then evaluated to make investment decisions.• Extensive experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as other office tools.• Knowledge of mathematical methods, models and equations and their applications to finance in a property development and investment environment. • Management of online client and investment records systems required the collation of information for data entry through collaboration with coworkers.

IFDS provides administration and technology solutions for financial institutions. Full time role between school and university.Work duties:• Analysis of financial accounts, investments and data to draw key information such as interest payments and dividends. This information would then be communicated to clients both written and verbally, in a clear manner• High degree of understanding of financial industries and processes from fund management firms to insurance providers. Knowledge of a wide variety of financial products was necessary to communicate to clients.• Regular training and testing on FCA regulations and processes• Working in a large team, achieving daily and weekly targets, individually and as a group, in a quality focused environment
