It was my swan song before I left- designing it, prototyping it, and running 400 miles testing it until it was ready for prime time. The platform was the basis of Epicore’s partnership with Chevron, and I made sure that the system architecture worked before I departed the company- tirelessly iterating, testing, and troubleshooting the product until it reliably measured accurate sweat rates on my running exercises. Assisted Gatorade Gx Sweat Patch development and manufacturing efforts on-site in Cambridge. Generated most preliminary concepts and led mechanical R&D efforts on other sensor systems, such as the AIM Patch for the United States Air Force, a rapid deployed low profile body mounted sensor which measured movement and heart rate.
