About Adam Ritchie
Growing up in the '80s & 90's, I was convinced I’d be the next Tom Cruise or Val Kilmer, and I had dream of being a fighter pilot. That dream, however, hit the end of the runway when I reached the maximum height requirement in middle school. Life took me down a slightly different route and I became an engineer. Not quite the high-flying adventure I had envisioned, but it led me to a fulfilling role at a major defense contractor, where I was able to contribute, in some small way, to the missions of the real-life Mavericks out there. As an engineer, I honed my skills in creating solutions from scratch, tackling complex problems, and mastering the art of manufacturing and root cause analysis. But there was always a nagging feeling that I was meant for something more. So, after earning my MBA, I took a leap of faith into the world of sales and business development.Sales, to me, seems like an accidental career—few of us plan for it, but many of us thrive in it. I found my tribe in sales, where building relationships and solving problems became my new cockpit. There is an art and science behind selling and it all stems from building trust and creating value. What I found better than selling was leading a sales team. I would be lying if I didn't say that my career has been laced with challenges and failures. I have been through layoffs, budget cuts, plant closures, failed startups, and missed expectations. I am a firm believer in failing often to succeed quickly and I wouldn't trade everything I have learned through these challenges for a life of mediocrity.Today, with nearly 20 years of diverse experience in sales leadership, business development, engineering, program management, and team building, I have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve top-line growth through strategic problem-solving and innovative thinking. I’m known for developing consultative client relationships, crafting comprehensive long-term sales strategies, and mentoring others to build their own life of significance. As a servant leader, I’m dedicated to creating a culture of trust and collective achievement. My passion lies in driving stakeholder engagement and enhancing organizational impact. I’m excited to bring my expertise and strategic vision to your team and continue making a difference.
Listed skills include Manufacturing, Engineering, Automotive, Continuous Improvement, and 45 others.
