I have more than 20 years of experience working at the intersection of finance, technology, strategy and data. I'll always be a hacker at heart -- you can usually find a code window on my screen somewhere. I am currently Managing Partner / Founder at Fleet Digital, a high frequency hedge fund / market maker focused on Decentralized Finance (“DeFi”).Prior to Fleet, I was Chief Development Officer at System1, a $1 billion publicly traded technology & data science company which operates the world’s most advanced data-driven acquisition marketing platform. At System1, I oversaw a team of corporate & business development professionals focused on growth via M&A and strategic partnerships, and led 5 separate acquisitions.I am also a “full stack” tech executive who brings a broad set of experience and skills in software engineering and architecture. Prior to System1, I co-founded PlayaNext, which provides distribution at scale for top software companies, including Google. There, I led the development of PlayaNext’s technology infrastructure and platform, including their API and SDK products, which scaled quickly to over 200 million end users since launch.I have also been fortunate to work with some of the top companies in the Media & Technology space. At Manchester United, I worked with the CEO to bring live matches and other content directly to their 500 million fans via distribution deals with platforms such as Apple and Amazon. I also spent 6 years as a senior executive at Yahoo as Head of Distribution / Video, where I oversaw over 350 partnerships, including Yahoo’s relationship with Facebook and Disney. At Yahoo, I formed a new group to distribute Yahoo’s content to more than 1,000 sites and applications, which I was able to help drive to 5 billion views. In addition, I led Yahoo’s landmark deal with Hulu to exclusively move their free content to Yahoo’s platform.Earlier in my career, I spent 10 years in Management Consulting and Investment Banking / M&A. I began my career as a Senior Software Engineer and Architect at Hubbard One.Outside work, I am an advisor to Medimergent, a health data tech company focused on improving medication non-adherence, which causes 125,000 deaths each year.
