My work empowers the family, through their foundation, to serve individuals from Spanish Fork, Utah to Ghana, Africa. Our primary parter for our work is one of the world's largest charitable organizations, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Impact:▪ Managed case portfolios for 3 global organizations NASA, USAID, and WHO▪ Analyzed 10 different technology diffusion systems, strategic recommendations coordinated with 5 field teams▪ Decreased flood mortality by 90% in 3 selected Malawi villages through implementation of recommendationsI was part of a research lab assisting the global organization Geoglows in diffusing flood and drought forecasting and warning software to countries in Eastern Africa. Combatting negative economic, cultural, and health consequences of flood and drought which affect millions of people in Eastern Africa yearly, we have been tasked with understanding and improving the adoption of the software among key officials in governments in Eastern African countries. My critical role on our team of seven is to deeply understand the current culture surrounding software, and what barriers may stunt the diffusion process of a proven solution among key players due to that culture. As part of this quest for understanding, I study digital sources such as peer-reviewed papers and case studies, as well as speaking with global experts on the matter in concise interviews. Geoglows is the primary partner for this project, though others such as NASA, NOAA, and USAID are critically involved as well. Our work is laying the foundation for a multi-year project which has the potential to save thousands of lives and greatly increase the vitality and well-being of much of Eastern Africa.

Impact:▪ Analyzed 28 key markets using creative problem-solving, Excel automation, SQL, and Tableau▪ Recommended model shift to franchising due to consequential inefficiencies in operations (1,200 analysis hours)▪ Drove a 40% annual gross margin increase through recommended changes, per CEO Ryan SmithWorking directly under and learning from top executives including CEO Ryan Smith, I was directed to analyze the most complex and important markets Recyclops operated in to improve profitability. Over four months, 28 domestic markets were investigated and analyzed, with detailed strategic recommendations for profitability created. These recommendations influenced Ryan and other executives to shift their model toward franchising. Recyclops subsequently saw a gross margin improvement of >40% over the fiscal year, with my work playing a "pivotal" and "major role", according to CEO Ryan Smith.

I was responsible for the operations of the business and the customer experience. From entering reservations, processing payments, or addressing concerns with customers in person, my team and I kept the customers happy.

Impact:▪ Directed strategic volunteer protocol changes, 50+ trainings to 500+ peers, 115% increase in client engagement▪ Increased visitation to key locations by 60% with targeted social media, received top accreditation on TripAdvisorServing as an unpaid volunteer representative, I trained and worked hard to help people of the Bay Area learn principles of faith to help them find greater joy in life. The majority of my work consisted of deeply learning instruction material, refining presentation and people skills, and working on a one-on-one basis with over 100 individuals with their personal goals and progression. This deeply fulfilling experience was unforgettable. While serving, I was asked to serve in several leadership positions. For 10 months I served as a team leader in digital marketing efforts, establishing a digital presence and leading to a 60% increase in critical site visitation in Oakland. I also served as an assistant to the regional executive, helping to coordinate housing, finances, placement, onboarding/offboarding, and training of over 350 total missionaries. My work was critical for mission operations. During my time, key client engagement metrics were improved by 115% missionwide.

Working during the summers, it was my responsibility to keep the family hotels running smoothly and looking good. From staining cabins, to replacing drywall, I was involved in every aspect of the hotel's physical operations. Hard work, efficiency, and quality were the mantra of the position, laying a critical foundation for the future of my work and life experience. My work culminated in being called up to assist contracted construction crews in building the new lobby at one of the properties. From framing to roofing, I help laid the foundation for a new era in the Town Square Inns.
