Senior Project EngineerTurner Construction Company Apr 2001 - Sep 2006New York, Ny, UsManager of critical infrastructure construction Projects. • Review, coordination and scope delineation in the purchase of the major Mechanical, IT, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems. • Followed standard construction processes to assure adherence to the contract specifications and drawings. • Tracked schedule and change order documentation assuring budget and schedule conformance. • Reviewed change orders, submittals and shop drawings. • Managed the replacement of a parallel redundant UPS system in a live data center for UBS Financial Services in Weehawken, NJ. • Performed pre-construction services and installed the facilities data center for the New Jersey Verizon Head Quarters. • Managed the electrical, technology, fire alarm and security base building infrastructure for the Goldman Sachs 30 Hudson Street Tower in Jersey City, NJ. Project consisted of 1.6 Million SF of diverse office and trading space with a ~$700 Million overall construction budget. Critical systems included fire alarm, security, redundant utility power and mechanical systems, a 2N parallel redundant UPS systems (uninterruptible Power System) sized at 2025 kW each and two (2) 10 Mega Watt generator plants. All mechanical and electrical systems were designed and installed within the Tier IV redundancy guidelines with a clear focus on Risk and Reliability. -

Oct 2000 - Apr 2001Patchogue, Ny, UsServed as the Managing Director, Cable Station Engineering & Infrastructure for the design and implementation of three Major Sub Sea Optical Networks and associated infrastructure. The Optical Networks were to span over 30 locations encompassing the Baltic, European and Mediterranean territories, 13 Asian locations from Japan to Malaysia and 4 South American locations. * Developed and negotiated contracts with Optical equipment Suppliers for the design and installation of the Sub Sea Optical Network and with Major International Telecommunication Companies for backhaul services * Obtained the required local Licensing and operations and maintenance support at each location. * Managed the Contracting and Bidding functions in acquiring the services of major International architectural, engineering and construction management firms for the lease and/or construction of the facilities to house the NMDG Optical Network equipment associated with all three systems. * The Optical system technologies consisted of a variation of WDM, DWDM, OEO, MEMS, SDH and SONET transmitting over Terrestrial, Transoceanic, Single-Mode long haul and Multimode Local Access Fiber Networks. -

The AT&T design group was an internal Architectural, Structural and Engineering firm that focused on trade coordination, constructability and overall designs that took total cost of ownership into consideration including a specific detail to the operations and maintenance requirements of all equipment installed. This approach always resulted in the most efficient, reliable and cost-effective solutions.
